The HUD-VASH program is a partnership between HUD and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) aimed at ending homelessness among veterans.

HUD provides Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers to eligible veterans, while the VA provides ongoing case management services to help homeless veterans transition from homelessness to permanent housing.

The Salina Housing Authority has been approved for 31 HUD-VASH vouchers.
